Carl Bowazolo obtained his PhD in biological sciences at Université de Montréal under the supervision of Professor David Morse. During his PhD, he studied the regulation of biological rhythms in dinoflagellates through proteomic and translatomic studies, including the development of ribosome profiling in these microalgae. After teaching at the university in France, Carl is currently pursuing his research career as a postdoctoral fellow in molecular biology. Apart from research and teaching, Carl is passionate about traveling and writing, a passion that has led him to publish several books (novels, plays and poetry).
