Annie Karakeussian Rimbaud is a research assistant in the Nephrology, Transplantation and Renal Regeneration Research Unit at the CHUM Research Centre in Montreal. She completed her technical formation in laboratory technology (Biotechnology) at Cegep of Saint-Hyacinthe. She obtained her B.Sc in Cellular and molecular biology at University of Sherbrooke. She joined the team in 2016 and works since then towards better understanding of the role of extracellular vesicles in transplantation, focusing on the immunological aspects of the field. When not in the lab, she enjoys cooking, baking, watching documentaries and discovering new microbrewery around Quebec and the world.
